Apis mellifera, the Western honeybee, and our company's namesake works tirelessly collecting nectar and pollen from the flora surrounding their hive.  Pollen is collected by foraging honeybees and brought back to the hive as an important resource for protein, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.  Like honey, bee pollen will vary in color depending on the floral source it was collected from.  The spectrum of colors in the jar is representative of a multitude of floral sources found throughout the United States.  This is a natural product and variation in color, taste, and odor is normal.
